Hamdallah Out of Al-Hilal After Shortest Loan Spell

Saudi club Al-Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement to end Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah’s loan deal just days after announcing his signing.
According to Saudi outlet Arriyadiyah, the club and Hamdallah mutually agreed to part ways less than a week into the six-month deal. The striker had joined from Al-Shabab ahead of Al-Hilal’s Club World Cup quarter-final clash against Brazil’s Fluminense.
Hamdallah, 34, came on as a substitute in that match and played only 25 minutes, which ended in a 2-1 defeat for Al-Hilal.
The short-term contract included a clause allowing either party to end the agreement at any time. Reports suggest he will now join Al Shabab’s pre-season training camp ahead of the new Saudi Pro League season.
Al Hilal are said to have appreciated Hamdallah’s willingness to join at short notice and are keen to end the contract amicably to avoid any financial disputes.
Manager Simone Inzaghi reportedly did not see the Moroccan forward as part of his long-term plans and opted to exclude him from preparations for the Saudi Super Cup in August.
